Professional employee photographs introduce the people behind your company. You can use them on your website, LinkedIn profiles, recruitment pages, press materials and internal communication. Natural team photography also helps potential employees understand your culture.

Many people, however, do not look forward to being photographed. That is completely normal—and it is why organisation and clear guidance matter.

Your employees do not need to know how to pose

Most people I photograph in companies are not models. They are good at their jobs, but they may feel unsure in front of a camera. I guide each person through posture, hands and expression, keep the atmosphere relaxed and show them selected images during the session.

Decide what the photographs need to achieve

Before choosing a location or backdrop, clarify where the images will be used and what they should communicate. Do you need consistent headshots for a team page, environmental portraits in the workplace, recruitment photographs or a complete image library?

A clear brief helps us create useful photographs instead of simply producing a folder of attractive images.

Choose one visual approach

Consistency is essential when photographs are taken over several days or when new colleagues join later. We agree on lighting, framing, background, crop and expression in advance. I record the setup so future sessions can match the original photographs.

Give employees clear information

Send a short message explaining why the photographs are being created, how they will be used, what to wear and how much time each person needs. People feel calmer when there are no surprises.

Recommend solid colours, simple patterns and clothing that reflects the company's usual level of formality. If everyone needs a consistent look, provide specific examples.

Create a realistic schedule

Allow enough time for every person to settle in. A tightly packed timetable can make the whole team feel rushed. Include short buffers for delays, clothing adjustments and natural variation between people.

If photographing the whole team in one day is not practical, employees can also visit my Prague studio individually. New colleagues can be added later using the same setup.

Photography can happen at your workplace

I can bring a complete mobile setup, including professional lighting and a backdrop. You do not need a dedicated studio—only a suitable room and a little space. Employees can attend between meetings, keeping disruption to a minimum.

Do not forget candid workplace photographs

Headshots show who is on the team. Documentary workplace photographs show how the team works together. Meetings, conversations, client interactions and details of the environment create a richer and more credible picture of the company.

A calm process creates better photographs

The best results come from clear expectations, enough time and a photographer who can work independently while making people feel comfortable. Careful preparation keeps the day efficient and gives your company a consistent image library that can be used for months or years.
